How this pledge works

  1. The funder sends money to a private Zcash address. This one holds 0.125 TAZ of free test money from a testnet faucet.
  2. The pledge publishes a viewing key. With it, anyone can see what came in, what went out and what is left.
  3. The key also shows payments going out, including where they went.
  4. The key cannot spend. Only the funder's own wallet can move the money.
  5. Who sent the money stays private. The public explorer shows the fee and nothing else.

Copy gives the full command with the key in place. It needs a zingo-cli build that supports the latest Zcash testnet upgrade (NU7). Expect a confirmed balance of 12,390,000 zat, which is 0.1239 TAZ.

A wallet made from this key cannot send. Trying returns "No spend capability".

Anyone with the key can read memos. A funder who pays from a transparent address is visible on chain anyway.
